Another Pedo Faker BUSTED!

Michael A. Pawlak 27, pleaded guilty to four counts of using a computer to lure someone under the age of 18 for a sexual purpose. Three of the girls were 14 years old and the other is 15, he contacted them through the internet social site facebook between October 1 and October 26, 2007.

After having short conversations with the girls, he offered oral sex in exchange for money. According to the original newspaper report Pawlak - a bespectacled heavyset man with a reddish beard and mustache - claimed to be a 17-year-old Chatham-Kent Secondary School student who recently moved here from British Columbia. He posted a picture of a muscled surfer-like teen with dark hair as his profile picture and used a fake name.

Pawlak was arrested after going to one of the girls' homes. The girl called police after seeing Pawlak, who was obviously older than 17. Police tracked the accused down based on information from the girl, including his description and the vehicle he was driving.



Man Arrested for Sexual Abuse, Had Fake Profile

A Walden New York man charged with 5 counts of second degree sexual abuse and two counts in the third degree, endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful dealing with a child and forcible touching, had a fake profile on myspace.

Police say, Darren Frank, 36, wasn't committing a crime when he posed as a 19-year-old from Staten Island using a picture of a younger man and chatted with dozens of young girls.

Frank's online activity came to light as police investigated allegations that the father of two provided alcohol and cigarettes to nine of his daughter's friends and touched them inappropriately. Police say that girls slept over at Frank's house regularly.

He allegedly gave them drinks, watched scary movies with them and comforted their fears. Then, when the girls went to sleep, they reported that he touched them in private areas.
